We are thrilled to announce that Frontier Events, the organizer of Sustainable Foods London and The Sustainability Show has achieved its B Corporation certification, joining a growing group of impact companies that are pursuing purpose as well as profit. Frontier Events has been certified by the B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, having met rigorous social and environmental standards. Demonstrating our commitment to goals that benefit a greater purpose as well as profit.
The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’ operations, looking at may impact pillars including Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. Frontier Events is now part of a 7000+ global community including well-known brands such as The Guardian, Patagonia and many more.
The billion-dollar global events industry is hugely beneficial to local economies and are pillars of the business and retail community. However, from an environmental point of view, the events industry is renowned for its poor environmental impact. The congregation of many people in a small space increases the amount of waste, energy, travel, printing, and food and drink consumption. A single event can dramatically increase Co2 emissions. By joining the B-Corp community, Frontier Events is committed to accelerating the events industry’s transition towards a net-zero future.
